ONEVISION e.V. is an initiative group of Africans living in Germany who, based on their experiences of living abroad for over 30 years, have decided to come together to promote social and economic justice, civic participation and empowerment for African immigrants and refugees living in Germany, with the intention of having a positive impact on their families and communities in their host countries as well as in their countries of origin in Africa. OUR VISION

Our vision is to be recognized as a national and international role model in bringing hope and light to African women, children and youth living in Germany through integration, education, empowerment, and networking.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to opens doors to opportunities for better integration, skills acquired, personal development, networking and living without limitations.

OUR GOALS

  • To provide advance public policies to increase opportunities and support for immigrant and refugee with the language, German’s labour market, immigration policy, entrepreneurship, etc.
  • Address issues of racism and discrimination encountered by constituents and seek to assist them in the areas of immigration, employment, social services, and economic development.
  • To build leadership and organizational capacity of the community
  • To provide capacity building opportunities and improve the health and general welfare of African children and their families.
  • Engage in activities that promote the cultural, educational, and economic empowerment of African immigrants and refugees.
  • To provide children and their families with access to social services
  • To involve African parents in the educational process and in public policy decisions affecting their children and families
  • To strive to dispel uncomplimentary stereotypes and promote positive image of Africans through various educational seminars, workshops, conferences, and publications;
  • To advocate on behalf of the African community through democratic and inclusive organizational structures, as well as partnership with other immigrant rights organizations.
